        It’s been a long day at school and all I want to do is relax. Right away when I hop off the bus, I know what I want to do. I run in, turn on my TV and open Netflix, I grow more and more anxious as the app loads, just wanting to get on my account. Finally, I get my account and swiftly swipe to my favorite show ever. Stranger Things. I smile to myself thinking of how many times I have watched it but still invest myself again and again.       My passion with Stranger Things started in 7 th grade when I finally decided to watch it. I wasn’t a fan when the show first came out in 2017 or even when season 2 came out in 2018. My older brother Grant was a fan of the show and was explaining the plot to me and my mom and I remember thinking it sounded weird and stupid. me and my family celebrate a lot of holidays however one of my favorite ones we celebrate is thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of the only times of the year my whole family get together. My dads side is much bigger than my moms and I don't get to see all my cousins and aunts an uncles hardly ever so Thanksgiving is the time I do get to see some of them at least. One of my favorite traditions we do for Thanksgiving is praying before we eat dinner I think its a really sentimental thing we do and its one of the only times we actually are quiet together. I really like the cheesy corn my grandma brings and honestly turkey is one of my least favorite foods but that doesn't  stop me from enjoying the holiday.     After dinner we always go outside and walk around and go to my neighbors house and feed their horses carrots I don't  know why we do it i just think it is very fun.   Bobby was fast asleep on his way to New York for a huge job interview. Bobby decided earlier in the week that instead of taking a plane to his job interview he would take a train because it was a cheaper price and in his opinion more of a comfortable way to travel, so he got a ticket for the first train of the day and quickly fell asleep. Out of the blue the train hit an unknown object and a loud thud could be heard from the inside of the train, followed by a series of loud chirps. Bobby immediately jolted awake and lifted his head to a sight he never thought he would see on a train in New York City. A baby chicken still in his eggshell sat perched up on his desk chirping like their was no tomorrow. Bobby was confused to say the least but couldn't help but pet the little fluffy chicken. He got off the train with his new friend in his sweatshirt pocket and started to wonder if maybe being a chicken farmer would be more fun than being a boring business man.

      The world would not be the same without our Veterans, our country would be on a very separate path without them fighting for our country. The event that I will be talking about today is called the Honor Flight. I will be sharing the history, meaning, and the way this event has impacted veterans, and normal people’s lives. Veterans all deserve handshakes, cheers, and thankyou’s, and the honor flight gives Veterans who haven’t gotten that attention that they very well need and deserve.         The first ever honor flight took place in, May 2005 when six small planes flew 72 veterans to Washington D.C. Over the years, more and more people have participated in the honor flight. An Honor Flight is conducted by non-profit organizations dedicated to transporting as many United States military veterans as possible to see the memorials located in Washington D.C. the trip is of no cost to any of the Veterans. This picture is of a happy dog in the sun behind a fence we found by the old M&K's. The dog looked very young and playful and loved all the pets and attention we gave it. My friends and I decided to call it Oreo because of its speckles grey and black fur. The puppy hardly barked or made any noise other than occasional yips and pants. I was drawn to this photo for two main reasons, one was that it was a very cute dog, and the second reason was the lighting and colors around the dog. the grass was gleaming from the sun shining on it and without the green tint around it I don't think the dog would have stood out as much as it did. We have been working with run-on, and different ways to avoid writing them. Our teacher asked us to create three different memes; each containing a sentence that shows a different way to avoid run-ons.

Something that surprised me was that you must be credited for pictures you take. I never knew that people had to say where they got their photos, I just assumed you could post images freely unless you where a professional.

               My name is Olivia I am in 8 th grade. I believe that most people deserve a chance to be a friend. I don’t like shutting people out even if they are a distraction because I don’t like to make people feel bad. Most people describe me as very talkative, social, and quite outgoing. I don’t like to show my sad side because I don’t believe many people care about that and I don’t want to annoy people with any of my problems even if they constantly bug me with theirs.                I like when people are nice, funny, and joyful about life in general. I really don’t enjoy when people go on and on about the bad in life when they could be focusing on the good.
