It’s been a long day at school and all I want to do is relax. Right away when I hop off the bus, I know what I want to do. I run in, turn on my TV and open Netflix, I grow more and more anxious as the app loads, just wanting to get on my account. Finally, I get my account and swiftly swipe to my favorite show ever. Stranger Things. I smile to myself thinking of how many times I have watched it but still invest myself again and again.
My passion with Stranger Things started in 7th grade when I finally decided to watch it. I wasn’t a fan when the show first came out in 2017 or even when season 2 came out in 2018. My older brother Grant was a fan of the show and was explaining the plot to me and my mom and I remember thinking it sounded weird and stupid. After a few weeks had passed, I was bored out of my mind and just wanted something to watch so I decided to watch Stranger Things. Honestly, I expected to get bored by the end of episode and switch shows. Time seemed like it had stopped, and I was at the end of the last episode of season 1, I looked around and noticed it was dark out, it had been 8 hours. My jaw dropped immediately, and I couldn’t believe how I was so invested in the plot. I then remembered the second season was just waiting to be watched to, so I started right in. In season 2 I grew a huge crush on the boy who played mike wheeler, Finn Wolfhard which was another reason I became obsessed with the show. After I had finished season 2, I moved to another show, I slowly forgot about Stranger Things and by the time I remembered the show existed there was 3 months until season 3 was released. I then quickly began to watch the trailers and theory’s and catching up on all the news that I had missed out on. Right then and there, I noticed how obsessed I was with the show, and was super happy to be back to my old obsession.
Stranger Things is my passion because it is such a confusing and crazy show. I really like how the plot plays out and how the characters bond. The show also displays normal teenager events and fights, along with the sci-fi type of tone. The show also has a great cast of amazing actors, that create another reason I want to watch it. My brothers also enjoy the show, it makes it more fun to watch the show when their around, it just makes it more fun because I can listen to listen to their snarky comments. I also have crushes on some of the kid cast members which gives me more of a reason to watch it over and over. I also love how the shows lighting works to give it more of an ominous mood that gets you more into the creepy scared feeling they are giving you.
I believe that my passion is something I will keep forever.  will be something I will enjoy enough to remember and keep watching until I grow up, and even tell my future children about.

me and my family celebrate a lot of holidays however one of my favorite ones we celebrate is thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of the only times of the year my whole family get together. My dads side is much bigger than my moms and I don't get to see all my cousins and aunts an uncles hardly ever so Thanksgiving is the time I do get to see some of them at least. One of my favorite traditions we do for Thanksgiving is praying before we eat dinner I think its a really sentimental thing we do and its one of the only times we actually are quiet together. I really like the cheesy corn my grandma brings and honestly turkey is one of my least favorite foods but that doesn't  stop me from enjoying the holiday.     After dinner we always go outside and walk around and go to my neighbors house and feed their horses carrots I don't  know why we do it i just think it is very fun. After that when its warm enough we love to go for a small hike into the woods and find this really ...
This picture is of a happy dog in the sun behind a fence we found by the old M&K's. The dog looked very young and playful and loved all the pets and attention we gave it. My friends and I decided to call it Oreo because of its speckles grey and black fur. The puppy hardly barked or made any noise other than occasional yips and pants. I was drawn to this photo for two main reasons, one was that it was a very cute dog, and the second reason was the lighting and colors around the dog. the grass was gleaming from the sun shining on it and without the green tint around it I don't think the dog would have stood out as much as it did. This photo is of my friend Rylan throwing leaves in the air. the colors of the leaves were a vibrant green-yellow which really drew me to them. While the other leaves were a dusty maroon these stood out, so I decided to take a picture of them. I loved the way that the leaves where in the air. it really gave me a fall feeling with the falling leav...
The world would not be the same without our Veterans, our country would be on a very separate path without them fighting for our country. The event that I will be talking about today is called the Honor Flight. I will be sharing the history, meaning, and the way this event has impacted veterans, and normal people’s lives. Veterans all deserve handshakes, cheers, and thankyou’s, and the honor flight gives Veterans who haven’t gotten that attention that they very well need and deserve.         The first ever honor flight took place in, May 2005 when six small planes flew 72 veterans to Washington D.C. Over the years, more and more people have participated in the honor flight. An Honor Flight is conducted by non-profit organizations dedicated to transporting as many United States military veterans as possible to see the memorials located in Washington D.C. the trip is of no cost to any of the Veterans. The trip is filled with a...
