My name is Olivia I am in 8th grade. I believe that most people deserve a chance to be a friend. I don’t like shutting people out even if they are a distraction because I don’t like to make people feel bad. Most people describe me as very talkative, social, and quite outgoing. I don’t like to show my sad side because I don’t believe many people care about that and I don’t want to annoy people with any of my problems even if they constantly bug me with theirs.
I like when people are nice, funny, and joyful about life in general. I really don’t enjoy when people go on and on about the bad in life when they could be focusing on the good. Everybody has bad days, but I really don’t think somebody could have a bad year or something like that. It just doesn’t add up to me. I mean don’t get me wrong I have had a bad day but not a bad month or year, its just impossible to be sad for that long.
In my free time I do a lot of extra curricular activities such as dance, volleyball, cheer, the play during the fall and winter, and basketball. I really enjoy all the sports and extra curriculars I am in, but just like anybody else I do like having a night to just sit and enjoy some Netflix movies and just hanging out with my family.
I am a huge people person. When you think about it in a way doing something embarrassing or talking to strangers isn’t really that hard. The likeliness of you seeing them again is very small. That’s why I just talk to anybody around, and when you’re with friends being a people person is super easy, for me at least.
My two brothers are fairly annoying but nice overall. I really could never pick a favorite but right now I’m closer to Blake because my other brother is far away at college in Alabama, and I haven’t seen him since August. Both of my brothers are older than me by more than 2 years. Sometimes I wish I had a sister, but I really don’t like the idea of sharing clothes and all the other stuff that comes with having a sister.
I have a huge celebrity crush on Finn Wolfhard. He is in many of my favorite Netflix shows and movies. He is super good looking and all his roles make him even better looking. He seems like he would be an amazing person to meet. I would probably bawl my eyes out if I got to meet him or just crawl up and hide because he would probably be so much better looking in the flesh.

  1. Good day Olivia, this is your fellow classmate Skyler. As I was reading your introduction, I noticed we have a lot of things in common. I do almost all the same extra curricular activities as you , besides the play because I can't sing, and basketball because I hate it with a burning passion. But that's okay because I am not participating in it. Anyways, that's all. Have a pleasant afternoon.

  3. Olivia,

There you said it- having a bad day or two is not a big deal but longer than that requires attention and may be care of professional. Reading your post makes me believe that you are a well sorted person who has their priorities straight.

Keep on being an awesome sister, friend and person. The world is your oyster. :)

me and my family celebrate a lot of holidays however one of my favorite ones we celebrate is thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of the only times of the year my whole family get together. My dads side is much bigger than my moms and I don't get to see all my cousins and aunts an uncles hardly ever so Thanksgiving is the time I do get to see some of them at least. One of my favorite traditions we do for Thanksgiving is praying before we eat dinner I think its a really sentimental thing we do and its one of the only times we actually are quiet together. I really like the cheesy corn my grandma brings and honestly turkey is one of my least favorite foods but that doesn't  stop me from enjoying the holiday.     After dinner we always go outside and walk around and go to my neighbors house and feed their horses carrots I don't  know why we do it i just think it is very fun. After that when its warm enough we love to go for a small hike into the woods and find this really ...
This picture is of a happy dog in the sun behind a fence we found by the old M&K's. The dog looked very young and playful and loved all the pets and attention we gave it. My friends and I decided to call it Oreo because of its speckles grey and black fur. The puppy hardly barked or made any noise other than occasional yips and pants. I was drawn to this photo for two main reasons, one was that it was a very cute dog, and the second reason was the lighting and colors around the dog. the grass was gleaming from the sun shining on it and without the green tint around it I don't think the dog would have stood out as much as it did. This photo is of my friend Rylan throwing leaves in the air. the colors of the leaves were a vibrant green-yellow which really drew me to them. While the other leaves were a dusty maroon these stood out, so I decided to take a picture of them. I loved the way that the leaves where in the air. it really gave me a fall feeling with the falling leav...
The world would not be the same without our Veterans, our country would be on a very separate path without them fighting for our country. The event that I will be talking about today is called the Honor Flight. I will be sharing the history, meaning, and the way this event has impacted veterans, and normal people’s lives. Veterans all deserve handshakes, cheers, and thankyou’s, and the honor flight gives Veterans who haven’t gotten that attention that they very well need and deserve.         The first ever honor flight took place in, May 2005 when six small planes flew 72 veterans to Washington D.C. Over the years, more and more people have participated in the honor flight. An Honor Flight is conducted by non-profit organizations dedicated to transporting as many United States military veterans as possible to see the memorials located in Washington D.C. the trip is of no cost to any of the Veterans. The trip is filled with a...
