me and my family celebrate a lot of holidays however one of my favorite ones we celebrate is thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of the only times of the year my whole family get together. My dads side is much bigger than my moms and I don't get to see all my cousins and aunts an uncles hardly ever so Thanksgiving is the time I do get to see some of them at least. One of my favorite traditions we do for Thanksgiving is praying before we eat dinner I think its a really sentimental thing we do and its one of the only times we actually are quiet together. I really like the cheesy corn my grandma brings and honestly turkey is one of my least favorite foods but that doesn't  stop me from enjoying the holiday.
    After dinner we always go outside and walk around and go to my neighbors house and feed their horses carrots I don't  know why we do it i just think it is very fun. After that when its warm enough we love to go for a small hike into the woods and find this really pretty lake that has been their for years. Sometimes the lake freezes over to make it possible to ice skate which is one of me and my younger cousins favorite things to do. Once we are done with our outside activities we enjoy going inside and usually having hot cocoa which is another tradition. We catch up with each other, watch movies, and then my cousins spend the night and sometimes the next night to. I make tons of memories with my family every year on Thanksgiving which is why I think I enjoy it so much.

      The world would not be the same without our Veterans, our country would be on a very separate path without them fighting for our country. The event that I will be talking about today is called the Honor Flight. I will be sharing the history, meaning, and the way this event has impacted veterans, and normal people’s lives.
