how can you improve your life for the new year- turning down the sarcasm

what was your favorite part about last year- hosting all my bonfires this summer was one of my highlights.

what was your most successful story from last year- I got to play setter on my school team and made it on the A team on my club team.

If you could celebrate the new year anywhere in the world, where would you go- New York because i would get to watch the ball drop in Times Square.

fun- I got to play sports and hang out with my friends a lot
boring- although I did have a lot of fun i did have a lot of boring days last year
funny- I laughed more than I have ever laughed last year
adventurous- I went to places I have never been before with my family on vacation
clothing- last year I got a new sense of style and started wearing different types of clothes
dog- I made a lot of memories with my dog


set three goals and describe how i will achieve them-
practice basketball- I will practice in and out of the normal practice ash hard as I can so i can be the best i can be
get straight A's- i will try my hardest in all my subjects especially math
to hang out with my friends more- i will invite my friend over more and plan parties

me and my family celebrate a lot of holidays however one of my favorite ones we celebrate is thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of the only times of the year my whole family get together. My dads side is much bigger than my moms and I don't get to see all my cousins and aunts an uncles hardly ever so Thanksgiving is the time I do get to see some of them at least. One of my favorite traditions we do for Thanksgiving is praying before we eat dinner I think its a really sentimental thing we do and its one of the only times we actually are quiet together. This picture is of a happy dog in the sun behind a fence we found by the old M&K's. The dog looked very young and playful and loved all the pets and attention we gave it. My friends and I decided to call it Oreo because of its speckles grey and black fur. The puppy hardly barked or made any noise other than occasional yips and pants. I was drawn to this photo for two main reasons, one was that it was a very cute dog, and the second reason was the lighting and colors around the dog. the grass was gleaming from the sun shining on it and without the green tint around it I don't think the dog would have stood out as much as it did. This photo is of my friend Rylan throwing leaves in the air. the colors of the leaves were a vibrant green-yellow which really drew me to them.       The world would not be the same without our Veterans, our country would be on a very separate path without them fighting for our country. The event that I will be talking about today is called the Honor Flight. I will be sharing the history, meaning, and the way this event has impacted veterans, and normal people’s lives. Veterans all deserve handshakes, cheers, and thankyou’s, and the honor flight gives Veterans who haven’t gotten that attention that they very well need and deserve.         The first ever honor flight took place in, May 2005 when six small planes flew 72 veterans to Washington D.C. Over the years, more and more people have participated in the honor flight.
